  • According to the WHO, the life expectancy at birth for males is 65 and for females - 71.
  • The probability of dying under the age of 5 is 41 births per 1000 birhts.
  • The leading cause of death in infants are conditions in the prenatal period, followed by pneumonia, intestinal infections and malnutrtion. Mortality in children is similar.
  • In the group from adolescents to adults aged to 24 the leading cause of death was due to external causes, such as firearms, attacks and unintentional death.
